Bio

Lena Mitsolidou (1972) is a Greek-French artist. She has studied at the Superior School of Art of Tourcoing (Master degree) and Visual Arts at Lille III University (Master degree) in France. She has mainly created installations that incorporate various mixed media techniques, including painting, engraving and drawing. Her art seeks to stimulate a dialogue around the body, personal experiences in relation to the human condition, social stereotypes and women’s issues. She has taken part in exhibitions in Greece, France, Belgium, Romania. She has also worked as a set designer and costume designer for dance performances. She lives and works in Paris area.
